GiliSoft File Lock Pro is a handy application that offers a quick and reliable method to protect sensitive data on your computer. This powerful utility allows you to encrypt, lock, or hide any file and folder from your system in a fast and easy manner.
GiliSoft File Lock Pro can hide any files and completely conceal their existence from prying eyes. It can also hide entire folders or even drives, as well as lock or encrypt them. The locked files and folders can be accessed only after providing the right password that was previously assigned by the user of GiliSoft File Lock Pro. The application itself can be password protected to ensure that no one else can access it and change the implemented security changes.
GiliSoft File Lock Pro is also highly-customizable. It can be used to deny the read access or the write access to files, folders, and drives. This means that it can be used to protect data against complete access or only against being modified, deleted, or renamed.
Moreover, GiliSoft File Lock Pro is also very easy-to-use. Its simple interface can be used even by complete beginners without any problems. Furthermore, it supports drag-and-drop and it features Windows shell integration (its functions can be accessed from the right-click context menu of files in Windows Explorer).
To sum it all up, GiliSoft File Lock Pro is a really convenient data protection solution that helps you easily hide data from prying eyes or lock the access to confidential information.

I was under the impression that I would see the locked folder and then just enter the password created in File Lock Pro to open the folder and see its content. It also hides the locked folder on my own PC as well.
Of course, it creates an EXE file and with this I can unlock it but if I want to use it in a different way, this is no use for me.
Example: If I want to hide a folder in a purpose to protect it to avoid some people to see the locked folder when using a video player app on my iPad with a SMB/CIFS access, I just don't see the locked folder and I can't open an EXE file with an iPad!
What's wrong?
